Hi, Would the E111 card be sufficient to bring to prague to cover any unforeseen medical problems that may arise?
Dont want to bother with travel insurance as we only going for 2 days and not bringing alot of cash!! Got cheap deal so flight cover wouldnt make us up!!
What are prague public hospitals like?

2 days - 27 degrees heat - travelling very light!! I would worry more that I would be looked after healthwise if needed! Obviously not expecting anything medical to happen but if it does and I can just pop to the local hospital then that suits me.
So, anybody know the story in Prague?

You should *always* have adequate travel insurance.

Agreed. The EHIC entitles you to the same medical cover that is available to residents of whatever state you are visiting. You can check for the Czech Republic on the link that Victor gave.

But it does not cover other things like your personal property, the cost of delay or cancellation, or medical evacuation. If you make more than one trip a year, an annual policy is usually better value than buying single-trip policies.
