    hey

    im not looking to sell my ticket here, but im just wondering if anyone knows if the name on the ticket has to match with id of the person entering the gig, ie if i can sell my pdf ticket. maybe its a stupid question but id be thankful for an answer :)

    I'm assuming you used Ticketfast! If so, you can give them a call and they'll replace it with a normal ticket.

    To answer your question, the name does not have to match the ID. Very few people will be asked for ID, if any.

    Aiken started a new thing there the other night at the Tom Waits gig where they do have to match. Don't think its gonna be in operation for EP though.

    That's not correct. It was a Tom Waits thing and the same measures applied to all of his tour dates on his current tour. these measures were not introdcued last week but announced before the start of his tour, in April or so i tihnk.

    The same will not apply to EP or any irish gig as far as i am aware.

    Its happening with The Killers pre-show in The Academy,

    I have a feeling Ticketmaster may start rolling this out to more gigs if its successful.
