King's Inns Diploma of Legal Studies Tuition Credits

For those of you wondering if the above diploma course qualifies for Tax Credit Relief, it DOES NOT.

This information has been confirmed with HETAC, the Department of Education and Science and the Revenue Commissioners.

The Degree Course however, is on the list and you can apply for Tuition Fee Relief.

This may not be the case if you interprete certain sections of the Revenue's T31 leaflet in relation to night courses and over a two year period.

contrary to what Dept of Education and HETAC advised me...

Just to update this thread, but the Diploma is on the approved list for tax relief for fees in the 2010-2011 academic year.
