Importing floorboards from US

    Hi, I am considering importing floorboards from the US. Does any one know if I need to pay import tax on them or what are the options.

    You will have to pay Import duty and VAT.
    My Cousin did this and was stung with a hefty bill, a month later he saw the exact same boards for sale cheaper locally!
    Not worth it IMO.
