Hi, does anyone know of a company that will drop a skip to collect scrap metal in the kildare area? I have about enough to fill a 6m3 skip.

    Cheers.

Here's two, I don't have any experiance with them but I think both should take scrap metal, if you give them a call they'll tell you anyway.

With the price of steel these days (approx €700/tonne, finished product) I'd ask a scrap metal merchant to have a look!

Do a deal with somebody with a small tipper truck and take it to a scrapyard.

Kerion Ducie (of kathy french fame) is a very reputable guy in the scrap metal business. Dont mind the media reports of him...Iv known him years...a true gent...and will give a fare price for stainless, copper etc.
No problem in the Kildare area.

I need to get rid of a scrap car from clane co kildare. I'm told they fetch about €100.
Anyone know if this is true, and if so, who collects and pays.
