ILS Headings and Frequencies

I usually fly the PMDG aircraft, anyone know how i can tune them in? I know how to do, just have no way of finding them out during the flight? The PMDG aircraft don't have the map icon to check the ILS headings etc!! I'm getting tired of sending private msgs to the controllers!

Or is there some program or lists anyone has of rw headings and ILS frequencies? Or does the FMC have some way of doing this that I'm missing?

    Thanks in advance:)

If you select the arrival runway in ARR/DEP, click on the INITref page and it gives runway length, and ILS details

didn't know that! Thanks neon. a quick google search also will work, say EGKK CHARTS for Gatwick and you will get a jeppensen thing that does the trick for me, but what neon said is even better.

Most PMDG aircraft will autotune the correct ILS freq once the correct ARR runway is selected in the FMC. Make sure your CRS heading matches the runway heading, and intercept at a fairly shallow angle.

Works fine for the PMDG 737 and 747 anyway. Can't wait for the MD11:D

Silly question probably, I haven't flown a PMDG aircraft for a while and it was only the 737 under FS2004 and my memory is hazy about it, but is there no facility to discover ILS freq etc by bringing up the FSX / FS2004 utilities line at the top of the page and selecting the map facility from there or alternatively using the GPS availailable there to discover ILS freq etc or are they disabled in the PMDG you have?

No, theres no map facility to select. Some of said there is an autotune for the ILS of the runway when you enter in your approach etc but I don't know where to find this auto-tune page or whatever in the FMC!

I detest FMCs so I am probably the worst person to speak to you about them , have you tried posting your query on the Avsim or Flightsim forums.

I tried the PMDG 737 NG 600/700 in FS2004 and you can get the map facility in the usual way by hiting the alt key, which will bring up the FS2004 utility line at the top of the page and then select World and then select Map.

What I think they mean by autotune is that if your have programmed an ILS runway in to your FMC the FMC will automatically tune the Nav radio once it is within reception range.

Yeah, i don't think theres any other way around it! The auto-tuner doesn't appear to be working for me but I'll keep trying it!
