    Right, I've twin monitors, a 28" and a 19", currenly I'm powering both via a 4870 card.

Now in my old kit bag I have a 1650pro, which used to be my pride and joy.

Question is, can I put the 1650 into the other PCIe slot on my SLI motherboard, and power the 19" independently of the 28" ?

Or am I just mental ?!

Yes you can. You can power 4 Monitors then if you want to.

Nothing wrong with it, I'm sitting at a system with a Ati x300 and Nvidia nvs280 at the moment.
