comp tv/satellite remote

    Anyone know if thereis any way of using your comp as a tv/satellite remote.
    I used to have an application for my phone that worked through infrared, sothought it might be possible. Thanks

    You may have to write it yourself. Some useful info here:

    I did suggest to Kesh Electrics (years ago) that they should write it but they said there's no demand. Maybe if enough people ask?

    Netremote from Proximis might do the trick.
    They also do Girder the PC remote s/w
    Havent tried it yet myself, no real need, but might give it a try some day.

    I'm slightly confused by the last post
    I am assuming you are referring to my now deleted post destined for a different forum. I had both forums (among others) open and accidentally got out of sync. :o
