Twin Tuner PVR - LNB requirements

Hi , I am thinking of upgrading from my FTAreceiver to a twin tuner PVR. My question is - do I need two LNB inputs for the twin tuner or can the two tuners work off one LNB - or is it PVR model specific?? ( I currently have a dual LNB , but one feed is going to the front room and one to the back) Thanks R

replace the twin lnb with a quad.. the pvr will need 2 cables to the dish
