wire a shed ?

    Can anybody tell me what do I need to wire a shed which is over 100 foot from the house ? WILL I HAVE TO GET ESB OUT or can i run a wire underground ?

    you can run the cable under the ground in ducting, you'd need SWA cable. At 100 ft some would recommend 16sq SWA, but 10sq SWA would prob do, depending on what you want to do, running heavy loads like washing machines and tryers etc will hike up the load and the cable requirements.

    The cable should be fed directly back to your fuseboard/consumer unit via a suitable isolator/MCB

    you should go for a small consumer unit in the shed to break up the sockets and the lights, as i said it depends on what you need to do there.
