Any reason not to buy a Panasonic TH-42PZ80B Plasama 42" for €1,140?

Hi,

I've been looking around for a while at large screen TVs (Plasma / LCD)

I'm going for a Plasma given the size and the fact that for Sport / Movies I think the picture is better.

I would be interested if anyone could suggest any reason not to purchase this model? It's HD 1080p and has good contrat ratio etc (full spec below)

I'm aware that it MAY not be compatible with the new Irish DTT system, but I'm willing to plug in a set-top box to the HDMI if required.

Otherwise, for just over €1,100 from Richer Sounds with a 5 year guarantee, I think this is the best possible deal (value / quality / spec) I can get.

Am I right?

I've had another look at the Pioneer 42" Plasma TV KURO and it's a nice TV, but bit pricey, again, I'm still thinking the Panasonic is the best 42" Plasma on the market taking the price into account.

For the price, i agree.It is a very good plasma and i'm told that bluray looks absolutely stunning on it because of the strong contrast, excellent motiion and full hd resolution.Heres a review.I would also think that richersounds would be the cheapest
