I don't want to increase the traffic on my Flickr! account, but I am not sure how many picture you could see there.
My I ask somebody who is NOT in my contact list to go to my Flickr! page and let me know what is the latest picture you could see, please?

    Thank you.
If I go there not logged in, my latest picture is "No videos on Flickr!". So I don't know if anonymous visitors could see the latest pictures.
    Thank you again.

Not logged in and 'No videos on Flickr' is the most recent one (April 9th)

Dunree is the newest one that I can see (Logged in) and the No to Videos one is half way down the page.

That is what I am talking about. Could you, if you have time, go to your pages not being logged in, if it happens to you as well?
I am a little confused. Again.

I just signed out and went to my stream, latest picture I can see is the picture I uploaded last night, so thats OK. The latest picture I can see on your stream is the 'no to videos on flickr' one, if I'm logged in (and I'm not a contact) the latest one I can see is the one above.

I am becoming a little suspicious - what if Yahoo does not like "No videos on Flickr!" activities? :(
I'll wait few days and I will delete the "No.." image in the worst case.

Logged in, not on your contact list and 'No to Video' is the last I see.

Not signing out as I don't know what my password is! :o

I think the reason as to why it's happening is that some of the photos are failing a SafeSearch filter. That means that anything you have recently uploaded have failed a safe search and will not be shown to anyone not signed in.

Yep, thats the one. I went out on a limb and turned on 'safesearch' on my account, refreshed the stream, and the last one visible was uploaded on Mar 3rd. I think you have to get onto the flickr administration and get them to re-review your account, looks like someone may have reported one of your pictures or something ? I think thats the only way your stream can be marked as unsafe ...

Thonda, I'm now seeing "Afternoon at the beach" Uploaded on Mar 3, 2008 as the most recent one.

When I go to "My account" I see that mine is marked as "safe", with a link to the following info:

My account has been reviewed as safe. What does that mean?

Having a "safe" account means that you are good at moderating your own content. Awesome!

If your account is also "NIPSA", you may be one of the people caught up in the transition between the old system of moderation (public, pending, private accounts etc) and the new way (safety level/content type filters). It's fairly likely that if your account is NIPSA, it's because your account was NIPSA pre-transition, and that it may require a review by staff. You can request a review if you wish. It's fairly unlikely that staff would flag an entire account in the new system, given that you have more fine-grained control over the images in your account.

Take a look at your account and it should be the first thing you see at the top of the page.

"Your account has been reviewed as safe by Flickr staff."

    I was always safe :-/

I noticed it about a week ago, your account has been flagged as unsafe by the powers that be.
All I see is black images with static noise for anything you uploaded after the 'Say No' shot. If I click on them I can then confirm that I want to see them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,715 ✭✭✭DaireQuinlan

you can do it individually for every shot though, which looks more likely. What uploader are you using Thonda ? Did you change it around ... oooo ... the middle of april sometime ??!? I bet its automatically setting your pictures to moderate or restricted. Go to the bottom right hand corner of the page and click on the 'flag your photo' link. That'll show you the settings for the individual shots.

Yes, there was a change. New PC, new Vista, new Uploadr.
    I'll check those pictures again.
