    hey hey

attempting to make a bank transfer of some monies onto neteller - i have the premium certified account etc but can't really seem to make sense of their advice in how to do so - do i just stroll into my branch and explain what i'm trying to do or am i better off not really explaining it's going to neteller and just attempting a normal bank transfer (not that i've done that before either...)

there's also a slight problem with the fact that my neteller is in US$ and obv bank account in euro's

anybody had any experience doing one of these -can anyone help a fish out?!?

    cheers

    hey Andy

NETeller should have given you a load of info: bank name, bank address, IBAN number, some other stuff. They'll also tell you what to put as a reference, it might be your name or your 12-digit account number, something so they know who the money is coming from.

You have to go into the bank anyway, you can't do it online (at least, you usen't to be able to) and tell them you want to make an international transfer to an account in X currency (probably euros) in X country (probably Isle of Man), then they will give you a form, you should already have got all the info from NT to fill in the form.

If you didn't get all the correct info from NT first time you might have to ask them again.

I don't think there's any good reason to tell them who the money is going to, if you don't want the bank nosing into your business, but you probably do have to write Neteller somewhere on the form as the beneficiary of the transfer.

my neteller a/c's in $ too so if you get very stuck i could ship you some $ via peer to peer transfer in exchange for a bank transfer or w/e..

but it's probably best to get it sorted properly like rt suggested i guess so you won't have much messing around with future deposit/withdrawals..

I got mine added as a payee on my account with AIB. All I ahve to do now is go online and select them from my list and work away

With neteller, it seems to work quicker if you select to do an International bank transfer (instead of a local one) - it will provide you with the info roundtower mentioned above.
I just have a regular NT account and made my last deposit through my online AIB account, just need the a/c number/iban etc.
