    Hey folks,

Found this site below and think it is a great idea. The site owner is unable to update the site since last year but do you think we could help by providing the information released to the media or some other way to help get the site back on track? We could put the link in a sticky on our forum to promote road safety. I tried to contact the site owner but my Windows email doesnt work but if anyone is willing to just get his email address I could contact him and see if he is interested in any help we may give.

    Quoted public email is:info@roaddeaths.net

A Whois Lookup of the Domain Name gives the owner as Joe Drumgoole

Site is run by the blogger johnnypez.com. He's a Software Developer I think

Interesting yet a very sad website.

It would be a good website to promote, road safety. Sure they can get websites together mapping the locations of speed cameras (if they even work?).

This website would have more of a point; giving the situation that occurred, may-be adding ways in which it could have been avoided (in terms of driver education and safety). Like if the driver slowed down, looking in the left mirror turning left for the cyclist that he collided with etc..

Good, site just a few more features, may be from input here, could be added to the site to make it more informative.

And maybe even if the owner created some type of admin users from a group of people too add content & locations, just the usual run of the mill stuff.

It's a great idea, a few ones i know of are missing, like the m1 stretch from airport to doabate exit has had 2 fatalities i know of, would be more then willing to give a dig out, even if its just to pass on the info to the admin's

the RSA have all the details in a large database. perhaps you could ask them for accident type and coordinates.

All road fatality info can be found on the garda website. It is updated every working day at 9am. Not sure if it is okay to link it so I haven't.

I tried to send a email to the webmaster but it was returned to me. No way to contact him that way. Anyone have an idea of how to contact him another way?

According to the ads only males between 18 and 25 crash and its always their fault!

However based on personal experience I would blame young male drivers for the majority of speed and reckless manouvre related crashes but thats it. Drink driving is not something I see young male drivers doing in anywhere near the same amount as older drivers. Same with crashes caused by lack of concentration such as changing lanes without looking and other similar cases.
