I'm looking around at TV stands at the moment, I currently have a 27" LCD Toshiba, so sizing for the moment isn't a problem. I have seen one corner TV unit that I like (it's for the living room), and it has a width of 1.1m, eventually I hope to get a 52" TV which is 140cm wide, is this a problem? Will it look out of place,…

I have seen one corner TV unit that I like (it's for the living room), and it has a width of 1.1m, eventually I hope to get a 52" TV which is 140cm wide, is this a problem? Will it look out of place, or is it normal enough for a TV to overhang the TV stand? (obviously the base will fit onto the corner unit).
