Texture Phobia

Anyone else suffer from a phobia of textures. My phobia tends to cause an unusual type of food loathing, amongstother things. It's not the taste it's just the texture. In my case it is a serious problem, that alot of people don't understand and quite often pin to being overly fussy, though I know it's not that. Anyone else have similar experiences???????

Ya I have this with peaches. The feel of the outside and also when you bite into them makes me shudder.
Also the texture of kleenex tissues from a box or cotton wool drives me mad.

I get this with velvet, peaches, cotton wool and writing on paper with markers and on blackboards with chalk.

I hate the feel of velvet and dry sponges. Can't touch them at all, have shivers even thinking about them now!

Cotton wool. The texture of this makes me shiver, my jaw goes tense, and I get shivers down my back. If something is covered in cotton wool I have to get someone to unpackage it for me.

Mushrooms. they have the most repulsive texture in the world.

crunching tinfoil makes me feel uncomfortable.

My sister has it with glass that has been in the dishwasher - It's soooo dry and somewhat squeaky. She has to wear gloves to empty the thing

Cotton wool and tissues make my skin craawl! Food wise - trifle and cous cous !

I get this with onions. Cannot eat onions. Can't knowingly eat something containing onions either. If I see too many onions it can put me off my food. It's horrible for going out for dinner/visiting people. At home I just remove all of the onions before I eat anything (many's a cold spaghetti bolognese had here) and my family are fine with it, but visiting people it's very disrespectful to go pulling their food apart...

Also can't stand the feel of velvet, or corduroy. In fact, if anyone rubs their hand along a fabric save for the silkiest of the smooth, it sends shivers up my spine.

Also get cotton wool to a certain extent. Normal cotton wool is fine, but those cotton wool cylinders they use in the dentist drive me crazy. Bit a dentist over it once when I was younger. >.>

Don't know if it's a phobia but the thought of somebody rubbing a woolly blanket/sheet freaks me out, but only if their skin is dry, like when you come out of a bath. It's not that I'm afraid of it, just makes me uncomfortable.
