Following a recent indy show appearance in Ireland, former ECW and WWE wrestler Balls Mahoney was involved in some sort of a street brawl, however details are somewhat limited at this time. Police were called to diffuse the situation and it is not believed Mahoney was arrested.

Anyone got anymore info about this? Where did it happen?

    From the IWW forum:
Balls Mahoney suffered a sprained ankle the first night into the tour. He continued for the remainder of the tour which included a 'Street Fight Match' in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. This match got out of hand when it went outside the building into the main street of the town. Many random on-lookers believed it was a genuine brawl between the two men (Balls Mahoney & T-Bone) on the road way and called the Police. A near Riot almost insued. The match was quickly brought back inside the venue by staff and management before the general public & fans got involved.

That town probably has never seen the likes.

Ive read about this on a few sites now and as far as i can gather all it was that the match that Ball Mahoney was in, i dont know who he was wrestling went outside the venue for a minute or two and went back inside. Id say it was all part of the match.

Someone got injected with Heroin there a few weeks ago.

At least you don't have to pay a tenner in like Dannos the ****ing ****hole. Tried to get banned from there Sunday night again. Failed :(

Anyway, yeah, I wasn't at the show, but I heard it wasn't as mad as they're making it out to be.

As far as I know, someone possibly did call the cops, but it just was a numpty who happened to see the (worked) fight spill out into the street, and the "riot" is highly exaggerated. It's funny how this has trickled over the past couple of weeks.

    Good publicity for IWW though.
