The Course seems to faithfully follow that book alright.. I've got it & its definitely a good introduction.

I've been thinking about doing a Logic course for a while now.. but I'm not sure whether I'd spend €550 after reading the book.

I picked the book up for $25 on Amazon.

However, you dont get the cert for reading the book! Hahaha! :pac::pac:

I go deeper than the book and cover a fair bit of "real world" stuff that's not covered such as mixing a live drum kit etc. using files I bring myself and as you mentioned, the cert is recognized world wide and is a very good qualification to have.
Also, STP is a very good first step into post production (sound for film).
I will try my best to answer any further questions anyone has.
