    Ambrose has had his spleen removed, not sure if that is a career ending operation but certainly a life changing one.

    Whoah, thats crazy. Lets hope he can get back on track as soon as possible, even if its not on the pitch.

    That's pretty shocking news.. You life can change literally in the space of a few seconds. The great thing about GAA people though is that they rally round in times like this, and hopefully Ambrose will have good friends around him to get him through this difficult time.

    All involved in sport wish him a full recovery asap
