Hoping someone can help - none of the solutions I found on line have helped.

    When sending a text

"Message sending failed. No network support for messages"

    Am awaiting contact from Vodafone.....

    what handset?
    what vodafone network?
    has it worked before?
does the sim work in other phones?
do other sims work in your phone?
is the phone setup correctly? correct service centre etc?

try to be more descriptive if you're looking for help.
what you posted is slightly above "help, my phone isn't working"

Hmm, the message I posted is fairly specific. Also note the posted network, Vodafone.

But, yes it has worked previously, I don't know what handset it is, and I haven't tried the sim in another phone as I don't have one. But never mind all that - it's a network error judging by the message and has little to do with what type of phone it is.

Your post wasn't specific. To be of any help, people will need the make/model, message center number in your phone, how long the issue has been ongoing etc.

Telling us what the error message says is no good. It's like me going to a doctor and saying I've a pain.

looks like vodafone system disables text messaging on your account or someone changed your message cnetre number, my messages were all coming in together last night and wouldn't send- in the end I just took out the battery for a few mins. I wasnt too bothered by it because I was on meteor for a week-was on them before with good coverage but their coverage had gone BRUTAL in town so I moved back to vodafone-and often had problems with o2- sorry im rambling- its something simple thats wrong!! If you havent sorted it by now re ring vodafone

IF you are only after moving back to vodafone it could be that when you port sometimes vodafone need to re activate sms on your account
