    Try here:
    http://www.omegadrivers.net/nvidia.php

    Worth a go.

to clarify you got the nvidia driver from their website and it didnt work?

Here download this system overview tool Everest: http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

It should tell you exactly what hardware you have.

Drivers won't work with mobile hardware unless the inf is modified to recognise that hardware (which it doesn't by default) - www.laptopvideo2go.com, download whatever forceware drivers you want but downloaded the modifed inf file as well to go with it and replace the stock one in the extracted folder...

The other solution is just to use the Advent drivers, but they're probably ancient - don't use too new drivers, they won't be optimized for such an old card, I'd say the old 70.xx or 80.xx forceware would be best for that class of card, look around Laptopvideo2go, they have lots of benchmarks on varying cards (old to new, low end to high end) on the different driver sets to show how they perform.
