    Hi

Can someone confirm that with the NDS I can browse the web via my wireless broadband, does anyone know how it works and what do I need to get to it to work.

    Thanks

You need to login to your wireless router/modem and reduce the Wireless Security protocol to WEP, which is very unsecure. It's probably on WPA at the moment, which is a lot better. Do a quick google and you'll find out how do that for your router/modem and then connecting the NDS is relatively straightforward after that.

Ok thanks, do I need to get anything extra for the DS or do I only need to change the configuration once I change the security to WEP?

    Thanks again

You need to buy a game with wifi (like puyo pop fever or something) or else buy the web browser software.

If you want to surf the net you'll need to buy the DS Browser. Bear in mind it doesn't support Flash (so no YouTube) and it's meant to be slow and rubbish.

Part of the DS browser is a RAM expansion pak that goes in slot 2. You can't use it without this either.

Lowering your internet security just to use a slow browser wouldn't really be reccomended. The only real advantage of having a DS online is to play games with online functionality.

I'd suggest that anyone lowering their encryption levels to use their DS online (Or Wii) use MAC address filtering as well.

Thankfully the Wii supports WPA2. Shame about the DS though.
