Hi All,

I have an HP omnibook 6000 laptop with win XP. Recently an intermittened problem started to occur that I cannot solve.

The letter "j" will appear anywhere in word, web search engine, excel etc without warning. The laptop will start to beep and "j" will race across the screen.

I have checked the key itself and cannot see a specific problem. Could it be something to do with the motherboard?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?
