Don't know if i'm in right place, Apologise if not. Wasn't sure where to go.
I went away for couple of weeks and came home to find a wasps nest in fascia board or attic(haven't checked yet), Can't open a window get loads in house and daughter terrified of them, she won't go in garden either as they're everywhere. Is there any way to get rid of them, prefer to move them along if possible but if only choice is to kill them i will. Can anyone give me any ideas please?

Get the professionals in to deal with it, it will be less trouble in the end.

Local council will be able to remove it safely for a small fee.

Thanks, had planned on calling council to see what they said on Tuesday. Just hoped there would be a quick and easy solution.
Daughter very upset they're eating her strawberries!

Hi again, Well called council and they don't want to know told me it's my problem. Only solution is to pay around €100 to have it removed privately.
So off to find phonebook now.
    Thanks, mymo.

You could try securing a tin of fly/wasp killer to a long stick and use tape to depress the nozzle then place the nozzle at the opening ( lie it in the gutter or up through your trap door). It might work before you call the professionals.
2 tins last year, worked for me as I couldn't find anybody at short notice.

Found a guy not to far away who came within 3 hrs of call and charged less than other quotes. He got in attic and could see nest at corner of roof where it meet wall. My attic is not easy to move around in, I couldn't see it when i looked earlier but would never have reached it myself. This guy had a sprayer about 3-4 feet long with a bendable end nozzle. He sprayed directly into nest and said it might take untill night for all wasps to return to nest and be killed, this morning all wasps gone.:)
Well worth it, can open windows again now and go outside again. Well, when rain stops!
