    It was ok I guess.

    Sounded nice but the neck was HUGE and made it harder to play. It was in almost new condition. Looked sweet! :cool:

    That I am, they're not that skinny by modern standards though. My Jazz is slimmer. :)

    It's a beauty, but I don't see a reason for it to be any better or worse than a 08 P. It doesn't look like it's been played much in 44 years... dare I say it, maybe they made lemons in the pre-CBS era too :pac:

    The old P necks are great though, once you get used to them, big ****ing tree trunks you can really get stuck into :)

    Nope it hasn't been used very much. I believe it's on it's 3rd owner, and most of it's time was spent under a bed in its case. Still has the original price tag and case candy.

    It didn't seem like a lemon, but I'm sure they made them, just like they do now. Just seemed like any other P bass to me, albeit with a slightly wider neck. But it was interesting to play such an old instrument. :)
