panasonic th-42pv8ey sky code

    need to get the panasonic th-42pv8ey code for my sky remote. its not on skys interactive list and another th model doesnt completely work(need to press help to change between sky and terrestial)

    Hmm, I think that's as good as it gets with a Panasonic TV. I presume you mean, when you press TV button, then a number, the telly remains on the Scart channel. This seems to be a thing with Panasonic TVs (I realise new ones have a TV button on their remote, as mine does). I've been unable to get my Panny plasma to revert to terrestrial either, without having to press HELP (works as AV button) to cycle through the inputs.

    Try 0678, I have the 42PY70 and the Sky remote works as it should...

    0678 is the code for Panasonic tv model TX-42D25L. You need this code to program a Sky Remote Control. I can not understand why Panasonic company are so ignorant as note to include this in their user manual. They won't even give an e-mail address so that a customer could ask them. I got code from a site called www.satcure.co.uk

    Welcome to Boards, just a little tip, check out the dates of the threads you're posting in, this one was last replied to in August 2008 and is long dead. Search for more recent threads and you'll find plenty of info about the newer Panasonic TVs
