i'm back from a run of 3 miles and my lower leg is very sore. i'm running and stretching all month following a novice marathon programme by hal higdon without complaint. the pain is above my ankle on both sides of each leg just below the calf muscle. any ideas what's wrong? any suggestions to solve the problem? i got a gait analysis done early in the year and found i'm nuetral and i've been holding both types of calf stretch for 30 secs on each side after runs.

    thanks
    clem

Clem you know it's not the internet you should be asking these questions of. Go see someone in real life prehaps the physiotherapist who measured you for your orthotics?

I hope you get sorted soon and can get back running without pain.
