Channels and meetups.

There seems to be a lot of Irish people playing, what channels do you use?
Easier to play together if we all stuck to similar. Most lads here seem to go to drama and snow and the default Frozen Throne IRL-1. Any others? Do you just stick to clan ones?
Perhaps there should be gathering at a similar time every week, get some games going?

I am very active I go to Channel: AT. Its a brilliant channel for arrange team am on 24/7.

I am also available for wcg08 practice match

yeah i was gutted i didnt go.

I thought id get hockeyed since i havnt played properly in some months and i only found out a week beforehand that wc3 was in play.

But I shoulda gone, sounds like Id be going to Germany

Just curious but why would this matter? Especially when you are one of the more active players and therefore practically guarenteed a free trip to Cologne to compete in one of the biggest gaming tournaments in the world!

Ireland isn't really a big country and it doesn't take a long time to cross it...Plus, ANYTHING major - gigs, tournaments, events - are usually in Dublin so if anything, we are all used to having to go to Dublin. And it was announced a long time ago, predominantly advertised on Boards.

That's not what I meant mate, I had to be here for something family related, not just that Dublin is far. I'm up there all the time and am moving there! I thought I wouldn't be able to make it for a good while and it turns out I couldn't. Signed up anyway in case. I went when there was no warcraft just to support it and play cs without a chance of winning(and brought my gf on our first date to the wcg.

), I'd certainly go to one where I get a free holiday just to play my favourite game.
