Deleting posts

Is it still possible to delete posts you've made in the past, or even to edit them?

The FAQ sections says there should be an edit option on posts you make, but I don't see this when I go back through my own posts.

    Thanks for your help.

Update: on this new thread I see the option to edit/delete my post. However, this option is not available on older posts I've made. Does this option disappear after a certain amount of time?

There is a time limit on editing posts (24 hours or maybe a bit longer) but after that, a moderator will have to do the editing or deleting.

Its 48 Hours to edit a post, after that time editing or deleting is too disruptive to posts.

If you do want a post deleted, then you can ask the moderator on the forum, outlining your reasons why.

The moderator may or may not delete the post, depending on your reasons. If they won't delete it, their decision is final.
