    Hi -

I have an 8yo whose teeth are coming and going. He has a gumshield which is no longer comfortable. Can the gumshield be reheated and refitted or am I heading for a world of pain?

    Thanks for your help.

Just remould it as you did initially, that or buy a new one and mould it. They're only a couple of Euro and are worth it.

once moulded the first time it is hard to get it to mould again, head to local sports shop and get a junior one and mould it again

Agreed. For the sake of a couple of euro it is less hassle to buy a new one rather than trying to mould the original one

Once all the adult teeth are in, get a properly molded one from a dentist; the DIY ones don't even come close to them.
