Mary-Kate Olsen allegedly had to leave the screening of The Dark Knight after just 20 minutes because she was too upset seeing her late friend, Heath Ledger, on screen. The 22-year-old actress, who was romantically linked to the actor at the time of his death, had to walk out of a cinema in Century City, California. "It got to be too much for her. She wanted to go unnoticed, but people recognised her and started whispering. She felt really weird,” a pal said. "Between dealing with Heath onscreen and with everyone around her, she couldn't take it. So she left," the source added. I don't know whether she ever commented on his death tbh. But God, I really hate this kind of stuff in celeb mags. Who cares if she walked out of the screening? It's completely understandable. I can't even begin to imagine how macabre and unsettling it would be to see an ex-boyfriend who has since died up on the big screen.

Why did Mary Kate go see the film if she would be upset?
