Seeing as there's only a Dublin city survival plan, I felt I should take a stand. I haven't a clue what I'd do - does anyone? This is important **** man, don't fail me...

Actually, how do zombies fare when it comes to climbing steep hills (see my location)...?

Every citizen of Cork should stand outside their homes and make as much noise as possible. Then hopefully the zombies from other counties will be attracted to Cork and everyone else will be spared the feeding frenzy. Once the Cork casualties have reached a maximum, drop a big bomb to finish off the zombies. Done and dusted ;).

My advice to the corkmen. As it has always been is to get the hell out of Cork. Head to limerick and that'll sort you.

I'll stick with the zombies so if that's the case...

Well, seeing that we are well tooled up in Limerick already..:D:D
We might be a tad adverse to Zs and others who have slagged us off all the time being let in,and maybe the Tri State of Limerick Clare and Tipp, might be Irelands only hope:eek::eek::D:D:D:D

May god have mercy on us all...

There's some good farmland out in Cork, so head for the hills and hockey some farmer out of the bushes before taking over his homestead. You can also use his comely daughters to repopulate the southwest since Cork women are niiiice...

after a quick survey of the area i believe the best area would be paul street shopping centre.

not too large. a few floors which allows some room if zombies manage to break into the ground floor. food etc available.

also you should be able to escape to the river if worse comes to worse.

if supplies become sparse or this area becomes compromised there are two other shopping centres in close proximity.

also if you manage to get your hands on a boat of some sort you can sail down the driver into the country.

No good. That would be emo country. Even the zombies wouldn't dare enter there.

I'll teach the zombies to use boats...just for you.

    P.S. Cork is doomed!

how will limerick stop the Zeds? if the zombie survival handbook taught us nothing else, it taught us that knives are a poor zombie weapon. though.. i suppose if worst DID come to worst, all those horses wandering around could be used for food.

on topic, yeah i got me a zombie apocalypse survival plan for cork, and an increasing mess of stuff that i tell people is for the zombie apocalypse... (bewildered looks dont hurt because soon they'll know better.

hulbowline island is the smart zombieproof location in cork btw. LOADS of usefull crap lying about. add to that;isolation, food, transport, munitions..

but its MY location so stay the hell out!

sound mark, glad to know that everyone knows now and wont crowd me there.

cause of course some jackass would come in hiding a bite under his clothes and unexpectedly die and start snapping at stuff. and who wants that kind of hassle during the weekend?

and it is indeed a great spot but the navy wont enjoy you having a nosey about, the old irish steel half of the island is pure viewable but not very interesting.

also, the small island on the bridge over is a crematorium. great for safely disposing of bodies i guess

    glad I could help.

built in crematorium is aweful handy thou.

It actually is the best possible place.

You've got cannons, gun-boats, and you can sail up to the city for a supply-run. Blow the bridge, you're happy out.

If that was out of the question I think I would head to Mahon point, but there would probably be over-crowding.

i still like the idea of the engrish market. big, full of food. gated and and has plenty of adjacent buildings you could bridge to to look for more supplies/run away.

and it has a joke shop to break up the tedium of hiding from zack
