Anyone know what the response was? Media is a bit sketchy.

    Rte have
"Overnight, rescue workers, including the Valentia Coast Guard, were called to assist in helping people whose homes were flooded."

I assume they mean the Coastal Radio station in which case they wouldn't be on the scene.

    Confirmed.
Community River Rescue - Limerick City (First Water Rescue on scene)
    Coastguard Helicopter- Shannon
    Helicopter #2 - ? Waterford ?
Civil Defence - ? Limerick county I assume?

What about RNLI, Ballybunion Coastguard, Kerry Civil Defence, Limerick City Civil Defence, Fire Service - Limerick/ Kerry?

To an extent, it'll depend on whether a major emergency was declared. When it comes to media reports, accuracy is not something I've come to expect when they're talking about emergency service responses.

5 fire units attended, the coast guard land unit and shannon's 'rescue 115' was the first CG heli on scene and waterfords 'rescue 117' took over when 115 were stood down
