Can't judge on the other two but I can recommend the n95 8gb.

IMO quite simply the best phone I have ever used.

The slide is actually pretty decent and robust. I had similar worries as you before buying it.
The gps is adequate, but it was never gonna be as good as a standalone Sat Nav. but for what it is its pretty decent. At least maps are preloaded unlike the I-phone 3g.

8gb limit is actually more than I needed but you'll know your own limits yourself. J

ust another pro is that the battery life is greatly upgraded from the original N95 which for me is a massive plus.

    Does this have wifi?

    Anyone have info on blackberrys?

The 2 blackberries are pretty similar. The 8110 is the next gen pearl and has GPS, upgraded OS, upgraded camera (2MP vs. 1.3MP), external media card & 3.5mm headphone port.

I have had a pearl and currently have N95. Can't say I am too gone on it. The camera and all is great but I am not a fan of the S60 Os and its a bit on the bulky side. I enjoyed the pearl, it was a very good phone. I am trying to make my mind up between going to the 8110 or iphone 3G.

What will you be using the phone for, this might help make a proper suggestion

I want internet on the move, emails browsing etc, bluetooth for the car and after that gps etc is a plus.

    Does the blackberry have wifi?
What will i be missing out on with out 3g?
Why is the new one cheaper than the old one?

Im not sold on the n95 purly for its bulk and slide.

This is the ofer atm. 49e and i woulf go for the 55e option 350 mins 150 texts. does that price include data? Or do i even know what im talking about!??!:eek::)

Who is selling that? im keen on o2 but 3g may do the job too apart from their customer service???

    Any links or pictures?

This blackberry does not have wifi. The 8120 has wifi but is not available here.
The blackberry runs on the EDGE network on O2 which is reasonably quick, probably not as quick as 3G but it depends how much you will be on it
If you want internet on the move I would suggest downloading opera, (check out youtube for comparisons between iphone and opera).
For internet I think the iphone will still be the best.
The blackberry pricing is a little different to other phones. You have to get the blackberry add-on (which is currently 15 euro on O2) to your talk and text price plan. This gives you unlimited email and internet access
The new one is cheaper because its a special offer at the minute, not sure when it will end.
The blackberry also does some things better than the iphone particularly email and MMS and battery life
The iphone has a bigger screen, better multimedia, seamless sync with itunes. The apps becoming available look really good on the iphone

It really comes down to prioritizing what you want

I use the pearl quite a bit in work and must say I'm very impressed by it. Personally I like small, compact phones that you can slip in and out of your pocket easily (although not too easily... :)) in addition to providing the obvious functionality.

The Pearl looks great, has a really nice finish, is robust, and is easy to navigate around (I've only ever used Nokia's upto now for this reason). One of my friends has an iTouch and while I was blown away with the iPhone when first released like evceryone else, now I just find them too big, and a nightmare to text on. I find most of the new Nokia's too bulky, and have never really been into slide phone's. I've never used a Blackberry before but I think I'm going to pick one up soon - up until recently I was still using a Nokia 6100(!) for all the above reasons. Had about 3 of them, man I loved that phone...

I wish people would get over the very "expensive" vodafone, -back in the day yes but not anymore IMO- anyhow thats irrelivant.

If its irrelevant why bring it up. Im sure posters here are as entitled to their opinions as you. BTW I was with Voda for years and left cause they were (and still are) so expensive IMO.

I have an iPhone 3g and a Nokia N95 8gb, and would recommend the Nokia. The GPS is OK in my experience, certainly more accurate than the iPhone's, at least where I live. The slide is fine and the phone is very robust - I've dropped mine a couple of times and it's fine, whereas I dropped my old Nokia E65 once and the slide was never quite the same. I'm very clumsy!

The iPhone is nice, and some stuff like You Tube is brilliant on it. In fact, web browsing generally is better on the iPhone. I just find it a little annoying to use as a phone and the capacity isn't big enough to really use as a replacement iPod. The camera is dreadful too, and the batter is pretty poor.

I've only had the iPhone for a few days and have had the N95 for 3 or 4 months, but so far I find the Nokia to be far superior, particularly given the fact that you can get much more generous contracts with it.
