AC30 CC - CHANNEL SWITCH

    Hi all,

For anyone not familar with this amp it has two separate input channels (Normal & Top Boost) which give out different sounds. I absolutely love the sound of this amp and ideally would love to be able to switch between the two inputs during songs but sadly these channels aren't switchable.

I was thinking of using an A/B switich to operate both as follow:

    Basically..

Insert Send --> A/B Switch In
A/B Switch OutputA --> Amp Channel 1 In
A/B Switch OutputB --> Amp Channel 2 In

Then set tone & master vol as desired..

Just wondering if I were to hook up this A/B switch could this in any way harm or damage the amp???

    Cheers,
    Seany

    You have the right idea.

As far as harming the amp......doubt that. Don't quote me on that one, but if it did, go for a f**kin' refund.

That would work fine and will in no way damage the amp.

I haven't used a CC but I've always found I get the sound I'm aiming for out of an AC30 more often by mixing the two channels.
