    The DeLorean has particularly good crumple zones, its an extremely safe car to drive as there was no engine in the front in a head on collision you won't find a n engine coming in though the firewall.

    To be fair to the Delorean, 40mph into a solid barrier would test any car. AFAIK, all tests these days use deformable barriers (although they do use offset).
