Sorry if there is a thread already started on this.Just wondering if anybody got in touch with the organisers to become an festival photographer for the weekend?I applied myself and just in time it seemed as well as they're not taking any more :( Know a few of my photographer friends missed out
Just wondering if anyone did apply what photos did you send them???

Here are mine which i submitted. Had a difficult time picking my favourites as I ran out of upload this month for flickr :(

    Hi there,

Hope you are well. Firstly I would like to apologise in the delayed response, I know some of you have followed up your submissions and not heard back yet. This year we got an overwhelming response to our call for photographers and it has taken time to look at everyone's work. We received a very high standard of work this year from everybody but we have limited positions for photographers and I regret to tell you that you have not been successful at this time. I would sincerely like to thank you for taking the time to submit your photographs and I would encourage you to apply again next year.

However, if you are still interested in being involved in the festival, there are lots of other areas for consideration. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kathy Kinsella, volunteers coordinator, at volunteers@fwc.ie.

I would like to wish you the best of luck with all your future endeavors in photography.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Soracha
