Samsung zv-40: Problem with Meteor card?

    Hi all. I'm having a problem with this sammy phone . It's unlocked(previously vodafone) & will work with an O2 sim or vodafone sim no problems. When a meteor sim is inserted, there are network issues plus problems when making or receiving calls.
    Anyone with any advice? Every little bit helps!

    when you say A meteor sim, have you only tried one? You might just need a replacement sim

    Hi Sam. Yea, tried more than 1 meteor sim. The problem expresses as a refusal to allow the answering of incoming calls. If the caller hangs up, the sammy continues to show as ringing, but answering does nothing. The phone continues to vibrate and ring with the on-screen animation etc.
    I know that the zv40 is Vodafone-specific, & therefore, there is no unbranded firmware available, but was wondering what fone model is the equivalent, without Vodafone branding. For example, Like the nokia 6234 is voda exclusive versus 6233 unbranded. Flashing is not a problem. I have all necessary hardware, just not the information!!!
