Is a member of the RDF entitled to timeoff from his/her work place while away at training camps.
Must the RDF member take the 2 weeks at the expense of his own holidays.

Any help with this is appreciated

All Civil Servants except those employed on a casual basis are entitled to special leave
with pay once a year to attend Reserve Defence Force training. Specific numbers of days
are granted which are determined by the length of the training course. Additional leave
may be granted for travelling to and from the training course. Dept. of Finance Circular 51/79, 2/76 Apply.
