Hi this is probably the wrong section but I'm just looking to find the names of jewellers in Dublin (preferably city centre) who buy in second hand rings? I've googled it but it seems to be very difficult to find, thanks in advance!!

    Hi op,

Not many jewellers will buy second hand engagement rings..

First thing to do is go back to the place you bought it and see if they will give you a credit note..

If not, think about putting it in an auction. There is a jewellery auctioneer in temple bar (thats if your from Dublin!)

    P.M if you want details..

you will do better on ebay.

mark up on jewellry is about 250%. Therefore jeweller buys for €200 and sells for €500. You can only expect max of €200 if selling s/h and probably worse as chappie you are selling to must also make a profit.

Ya e-bay is definitely the way to go to make any of your money back on this one. A jewellers won't give you anything near what it's worth.
