    Hi all,

quick question: does anyone know bakeries in Galway city that are NOT in town , i.e. accessible by car (really don't feel like going into town to get a cake) - is there one in Westside by any chance?

    Cheers

There's one in Terryland Dunnes, but the traffic is heavy right now around there.

There used to be one at Westside Dunnes, there's still a place where you can get doghnuts etc. Not sure if it's a full on bakery anymore though

Thanks guys, Terryland will do nicely (leaving work around 4, traffic should be ok then ;-))

Might b a bit late for you now, but there is one in Gleann Na Ri on the Dub road although it is mainly a Polish bakery. They do have some nice stuff though.

There is a bakery in Westside Shopping Centre, just beside Dunnes Stores.
