Really boils down to personality. She may be a child and he a grown up man or the other way round, but if they are both at the same stage it may work fine.

What's the concern? The age gap or the fact that it's the female who's older? Cuz a lot of people seem uncomfortable with the latter and sometimes even disapproving of it - probably some Darwinian reason but time's moved on a fair bit since any of that was relevant.

In either case though, if ye want to be with each other, then you owe it to yourselves to be with each other. **** what anyone else thinks. If the 18-year-old is still in school, pretty contrasting lifestyles, but I presume he isn't so there's no reason to not go for it.

In terms of age gap, you're both adults - yes it seems like there's a big difference between 18 and 22 but there isn't that much of one. Hope it works out!

Personally i've always had a thing for older women , as already pointed out its entirely down to how you feel and not what anyone else thinks or feels about the age gap. If you like her and she likes you there is no reason why you should care what anyone else thinks.
