I've been scammed, what do I do now?

    Bought something direct (not on ebay) off a company that is located in HK.
    The item was paid for from a credit card into his paypal account.
    When I received the goods, I knew it was fake and got that confirmed by somebody else.
    Sent e-mails to the company but no answer.
    Went to Paypal but got nowhere as their response was "as you received
    the goods, we can't do anything for you".
    What can I do now, if anything?

    Ring bank, chargeback on credit card.

    Chargeback is the way to go.
    Its about time paypal got their act together
