Arcadia Hall deposits

If you have been living in Arcadia Hall Cork for the last year you will need to contact them to get what is left of your deposit back.
The latest story from P&L is that they have 'lost' all the addresses of the students. Once again they say this is a problem created by employees who have left their employ.
Apparently they are also declining to refund any of the esb deposit, though I have not yet been told this personally. It says quite clearly on their website for 2008 that the esb €450 is a deposit, but they are saying that it is non-refundable.
Last year we did receive a portion of the €350 esb deposit, but were stopped €97 per student for 'cleaning'. This year the stoppage for cleaning is €25, presumably they think that this is not likely to be considered worth persuing.

Strange place for third level accommodation. It's nowhere near UCC. It's like student apartments for DCU being in Fairview - or maybe further away.
