hi - can anyone recommend a professional tax text book for basic returns (SMEs and sole traders mainly) ?

I understand tax, accounts etc. but I just don't know everything off the top of my head as it's been a while since I had to apply my knowledge.

I find the revenue website a bit disjointed and would love something that would include everything relevant for e.g. income tax.

Are the taxation institute's textbooks good for this can anyone recommend ?

Also if anyone could recommend an up-to-date accounts manual too ! (Assuming high level of knowledge).
