Inch beach is a good bit out but iv seen some lovely shots of it!Sadly i havnt been in dingle since iv had a good camera so im not 100% sure!Maybe go around the harbour you might get some shots of nice old boats and fisher men.Maybe go out to see fungie around 6pm or later if you can if you could get a silohuette of fungi jumping and the sun set behind him it would be a really cool shot!

Thats all i can think of

Its a rare sight to see Fungi jumping these days :(

The harbour's lovely. Dick Macks is nice to wander around in during the day - lots of old-world charm. Also the aquarium - you can get some cool shark shots :) Basically, the whole town's great. If you go to the Diseart you can get a look at the Harry Clarke windows for inspiration, although there's no photography allowed in the little chapel they're housed in. Downstairs there's an exhibition of Ryan's Daughter stuff with some lovely old things for macro work.

If you're driving (and I assume you are..) then Slea Head Drive's an absolute must. Its not far - maybe 10 miles around? The Blaskets, Skelligs (albeit in the distance) the Beehive huts at ventry, clogher head beach, Coumenoule beach, all absolutely spectacular. And if you're feeling energetic, the views from Brandon are breathtaking. Also, the Oratory at Gallarus and the ogham stones in Ventry and Smerwick Harbour. The Three Sisters.. Ceann Sibeall.. Connor Pass.. Oh I love it down there. Not getting down this year :(

A million other places, but I can't think now and I have to run. I have a set up at http://www.flickr.com/photos/sineadw/sets/72157601200699284/ that absolutely fail to do the place justice. If I wasn't off to Paris in the morning I'd be wildly jealous of you. Actually, I still am...

Pity its only a couple of nights, a trip to Blasket Island is almost a must if down there this time of year.

Ok what Sinead said is excellent.

    Also.

    1. For the one of the best views of Dingle Harbour go to Easks Tower (left at the road for Colaiste Ide.) It's about 3 miles down there and €2 entrance from the landowner, well worth it) Fantastic views of the town/bay, mountains, sea, Iveragh Penninsula etc.

    2. Great walk on the Tralee side of the Conor Pass ( signposted near Cloghane ) Loch an Dún. Lovely walk into lake and forgotton beehive huts. Bring insect repelant.

3 Another great walk is from Brandon to Sas Creek and the deserted village of Arraglen.

4 The pubs in Dingle are great for shots. For something different though go to the back room in Moriarty's (shuts about 5pm though).

Sinead has most of it covered already but I'll add in what I can.Annascaul Lake is worth a visit. It's about 15km outside Dingle on the Tralee road.Turn right in Annascaul on the way towards Dingle to get there. On a good day it's absolutely spectacular.

I'd also reccomend a walk out to Dunmore Head.If you go straight on past the beach you're able to go over a stile that will bring you out along a beautiful cliff walk to the end of Dunmore Head(barely a 1km walk.)On top there are an old signal tower and ogham stone.

Another brilliant walk is the one up to Sybil Fort. You take a left after Clogher Beach followed by another left at the T junction. This will bring you into a load of holiday homes.Keep to the left and park the car out of the way.Climb one of the gates on your right and make your way up the hill towards the fort.At the top there's a fantastic view back around the Dingle peninsula and of the 200m sea cliffs below you.You could also continue the walk over the Three Sisters but this would take up a whole day.

As well as that there are 2 more cliff top forts on the peninsula.Nothing remains of Dun an Oir but it is situated in a beautiful cove and if you jump the fence you can walk out along the spur where the fort used to be situated. The other fort is Dunbeg fort(costs €2 to get in.) This one is situated in a beautiful setting just on the edge of a cliff.

It's an amazing area down there.Enjoy it!

Inch Strand is a must - my old Kangoo did 110 kmph there. But it is even nice to walk there :-)
52° 7'16.73"N - 10°15'2.23"W: Beautiful little beach - my private place - And I forgot, you can see the Sleeping giant from this beach.
    52° 9'22.91"N - 10°27'40.53"W: Nice and bigger beach - very relaxing place
    52° 5'4.45"N - 9°41'33.23"W: Nice fort with great view.
Connor Pass - when facing Dingle direction, go uphill along the fence to the right - there wonderful view of the valley below with three lakes. You can see only two from the end of the carpark.

Coomeenoule around the corner from Slea Head. It's the beach where parts of Ryna's Daughter was filmed, dangerous enough so keep an eye on the tides. Spectacularly beautiful
