    Buy, buy, buy.

A great lens, and sounds like a very good deal. Is it the IS or non-IS version?

non IS unfortunately, but I'm not overly bothered by that I dont think. I think it's still a very good price

Sounds good dara, deffo a nice one to have,

i begrudge mine a little bit cos of how little use it normally gets compare to what it cost me, but at that price it sounds like a very good idea

when its needed its a absolute superhero lens

i wouldnt worry massively about the IS, tis nice to have but definately possible to do without, ive hand held mine to 1/15 or so before just bracing against something

Same here, I use my 24-105L virtually all the time but I'm heading of to the main Punk fest of the year next week and fck the weight of it, it's coming as I think it may really shine at this gig as I can't get as close as I do at normal gigs I attend.

Fantastic Lens to have, just got mine 2 weeks ago and it's been on the camera almost all the time, only changed it twice for a few mins to get a wider shot on my 24-70 and then this lens goes back on as my general purpose lens.

Pin sharp, really fast focus, need I say more.

There was a post here a while ago about someone who went to hong kogn and he told us that a newspaper said the pepole who post alot of items from hong kong(which the postal services have to report)will get charged tax for it or something like that.

I don't know if it true when it comes in.
But as they say all good things come to an end :(

yes staying on topic .. it is by far my favourite lens .. the quality is excellent ..
and it's not just for long reach, it's great for street photography and portraits at the wider end..
