iPhone 3G mains charger problem...

    The one that came in the box doesn't seem to work at all. The unit charges fine for me using the same cable via a PC, but not when plugged into the special wall socket.

    Wondering if this is a common issue - anyone else have the same problem?!

    mine works fine , maybe return it and see if they will give you another one.

    Nope, mine worked fine OTB and I haven't heard any reports of issues with the power supply. It's the same type supplied with the component and composite leads. I would return it to Apple/O2 for a replacement.
