Poor ITV reception

I am getting a poorer reception on ITV 1 channels (any region) than on others. The picture keeps breaking up with ITV. I'm using a Comag box, an older version of the Lidl boxes that a lot of people on here have. I get strong signal on BBC and on Ch 4. No picture breakup on these.

    Any ideas?

What size dish are you using?

Has it always been like this? Has it previously been better, or has your dish had any recent knocks or possible movement due to weather conditions?

Also, your LNB needs to be skewed to maximise signal reception. If the LNB is sitting "straight" in the holder, then (as you look at the front of the dish) you need to loosen it in it's holder, and rotate it clockwise whilst at the same time monitoring any changes in reception, to set it at it's optimal position.

Skew often comes up on the boards, so search or google to find out more if you're not familiar with the concept.

Thanks again for the help, skew seems to have worked. Never heard of it before, but that's why we have boards such as this with helpful folk such as yourself.

    Cheers.

Could be the reason you weren't getting some of the transponders in the other thread. If you can get Zone Horror with more than 70% quality, you've probably skewed as good as you can.

Anyway, glad to hear you're getting it sorted.
