    Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a ghillie for Lough Currane/Waterville for a post-beginner? Have fished before, but still need help with learning to cast properly...
    Thanks in advance!

    Brandaan,

I suggest that you base yourself out of Donnellys B + B. They provide boat hire and a gillie service.

    These lads know their stuff.

Just got back, thanks for the reply.
Fished Lough Currane last Monday with a great ghillie called Neil O'Shea. The day was an absolute washout :( It literally never stopped. Only action was a small sea trout in the first five minutes... Also hooked into into a 7-8 pound salmon, which showed me its pink belly before thrashing loose...
    Would have made my day!!!
    Will definitely return...
